For nearly 30 years Chris Mann has led the MTL business from its initial inception through to it being one of the most renowned employee owned multi-disciplined engineering design and project delivery companies within NZ and Internationally. Chris alongside co-founders Julie Watson and Don Purdie have provided outstanding leadership in building the company to where it is today.
As MTL continues its journey to foster business resilience and stability, Chris and Julie have decided to step down as owners and shareholders of the company to pursue other personal goals, but they will continue to remain with the company in an advisory role. Don Purdie, Holger Zipfel, Chris Brown, and Stephen Kennedy remain as shareholders and welcome James Creed and Richard Belcher as new shareholders.
MTL will continue to be an employee owned company and effective from the 1st April 2024 will be under the new leadership of:
Holger Zipfel – Managing Director
Chris Brown – Engineering Manager
Don Purdie – Principal Engineer
James Creed – Engineering Manager
Stephen Kennedy – Design and Digital Manager
Richard Belcher – Geothermal Manager
This change provides the leadership and framework for the future vision, goals and growth of the company. This is an exciting chapter for MTLs growth, and the leadership team are committed to ensuring the high standard of design and delivery continues.
